Iowa Aviation Museum

It is a small aircraft museum located at Greenfield Municipal Airport.

The museum is home to the Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame, which honors Iowans who have contributed significantly to the growth of aviation. The Iowa Aviation Hall of Fame started in 1990.

The museum primarily focuses on civil aircraft from the 1920s, 1930s and 1940s, including some rare examples of early aircraft. For example, you can see a “1941 de Havilland Tiger Moth”, a “1928 Curtiss Robin” and a “1937 Piper J-2” and many more. Of modern aircraft, they have an “A-7D Corsair II” and an “AH-1 Huey Cobra”.

The museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10 to 17 and Sunday from 13 to 17. Please note that the museum is closed from December to March.
